FTC Disclosures

People purchase products and services from Saggio Technologies because they trust us and we do everything we can to preserve that trust. The intent of this disclosure is to clarify our policies about making money.

Our core business is Software Professional Services. We also derive a portion of our revenue from product sales.

Saggio Technologies owns a portfolio of “parked” domain names. These domain names are for past or future projects. While they sit idle, advertisements may be displayed on the sites. These ads are delivered by Google through their Google AdSense for Domains program. Saggio Technologies does not necessarily endorse or recommend any of the products or services or anything displayed in the ads delivered by the Google AdSense network.

Other than the “parked” domain names, currently, we do not accept any form of additional advertising on our websites. That includes banner ads, text link ads, search engine ads, and paid posts. However, we may recommend a book or program that we believe is worthy of sharing. We only recommend products, services and books that someone in our organization has personally used. We never recommend anything just because there is a commission involved. The recommendation comes first and the commission is second. If we like something and want to share it and it happens to have an affiliate or commission program, we will probably participate in that program. It would be foolish of us not to. Accordingly, you should assume that all links to products and services that we recommend are affiliate links, keeping in mind we will never recommend something solely on that basis.

From time to time, we may send a free promotion code for our iPhone apps to a blogger, YouTube’r or other reviewer. All of the promotion codes for iPhone apps that we give out expire. The expiration date is disclosed to the reviewer. The reason we give out promotion codes is that we hope the person writes a review about our app on their blog, site, etc. We absolutely NEVER, EVER, specify what that review should be. In fact, very often, the reviewers do not give our apps the top score. The reviewer benefits from this process because they get to enjoy the benefits of our apps for free for a time. Also, their review becomes some fresh content for their own blog, review site, etc.

In the summer of 2011 we have released our first ad-supported iPhone app. We derive income from the advertisements displayed in the application. The ads are served by Apple through their iAd network. Saggio Technologies does not necessarily endorse or recommend any of the products or services or anything displayed in the ads delivered by the iAd network.

On LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook, we either currently operate or have operated in the past web pages that advertise our news, products and services. Advertisements that appear on those pages are placed there by the social network company itself. (ex. LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook) Saggio Technologies does not derive any income from those advertisements. Saggio Technologies does not necessarily endorse or recommend any of the products or services or anything displayed on the ads delivered by those networks. Additionally, anyone in the public is free to post a message in those systems which may become linked or even directly displayed on our pages. Saggio Technologies does not necessarily endorse, agree-with, deny or confirm anything written by anyone on our pages The comments are the opinions of their respective authors.
